Salvatore Ferragamo is a famous Italian designer and shoemaker. He worked with many Hollywood stars before returning to Italy to found his own company of unique handmade footwear. The Ferragamo family founded the museum in May 1995 in Italy to show the archives of Salvatore Ferragamo and the role he played in the history of not only shoes but international fashion as well.
