Valencia shopping guide

Valencia — is not only a stunning architecture, history and gastronomic paradise, this city is also suitable for shopping. You can find unique vintage shops and national costume stores, major brands of the Spanish mass market and, of course, heavy luxury brands.

  1. Plaça de l’Ajuntament

City Hall Square and its neighboring streets (Carrer de Xàtiva, Passeig de Russafa, Carrer del Convent de Santa Clara) have sheltered leading mass-market marks and souvenir shops. Here you can find Cortefiel, Guess, Zara, Tiger, Marypaz, Ale-Hop and a lot of other stores. You could buy a gorgeous fan and Spanish scarf on the street Carrer de Castelló in old store Abanicos Carbonell.

  1. Plaza de la Reina

The stunning and beautiful area with the main cathedral of Valencia  ends with the street Carrer de Sant Vicent Màrtir (you should also visit Plaça Redona and a neighbour’s Plaça de Lope de Vega for a souvenir fan and a photo of the houses with «an embroidery» on the restoration grid). Both places have collected the highest concentration of souvenir, church shops and the national costume stores. You can find unique crests and decorations in the Spanish style as well as to buy a beautiful souvenir scarf and a figure of the Virgin Mary, the saint patron of Valencia.

  1. Carrer de Roteros

This street starts from the Plaça del Carme, where you can drink a cup of coffee, enjoying the views of the fountain and the Catholic Church. Workshops and shops of local craftsmen in ceramics and traditional Valencian tiles are located here. Many artists take individual orders for paintings, here you can order and get a delivery of the finished products to the homeland.

  1. Carrer dels Serrans

Walk the picturesque streets from the old Gothic gates Torres de Serranos in the direction of Valencia’s historic center. Along the way you’ll see a lot of second-hand and vintage shops. You can find quality denim items, Hawaiian shirts, 70s and 80s blouses as well as interesting jewelry with the history. There are large beer stores, a lot of wine shops and excellent modern clothing stores such as: Sisters&Ro и Wakanda.

  1. Marqués de Dos Aguas

It is the «golden mile» of Valencia. You can visit luxury shops on this street and nearby (Plaza del Patriarca, Poeta Querol, Salvá, Rinconada de García Sanchís and others nearby): Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Ermenegildo Zegna, Bulgari, Salvatore Ferragamo, Carolina Herrera etc.

  1. El Corte Ingles

The biggest department store in Europe is suitable for those who want everything at once. Here you will find clothes for the entire family the most popular and well-known brands, including Spanish, books and stationery, souvenirs, household goods, food and much more.
