Trends

Welcome to jungle

Perhaps one of the most summer trends, bright, juicy and creating a holiday mood is a tropical print. Apart from the floral print it took the top place on the catwalks of the world. We admire and wear floral print for several seasons in contrast to tropical. This year, designers presented palm trees, exotic animals and birds in all summer collections, and the next summer season promises to be even more interesting. Speaking about this season, I’d like to highlight the mass market. The most interesting collections was Zara, H&M and River Island. It was the really great look at the youth and summer fashion trends. Starting from the swimwear and finishing with trousers and skirts, all these things are the good beach mood.

Young Taiwanese designer Jason Wu presented his 2014 resort collection of urbanistic, moving away from traditional elegant silhouettes for city style. The color range shows the beauty of twilight in the tropics. In these clothes you can run around the city and admire the night jungle.

Liana Thomaz’s runway show of Spring/Summer 2014 collection for Água de Coco was really exciting. Brazilian atmosphere, hot rhythms and colorful print. I rarely see a beautiful and high quality stitched things, but this collection is really inspiring. Just look at these juicy fruits and awesome birds!

Brazilian brand CANTÃO presented spring / summer 2014 collection. As part of the show Daiane Conterato (Ford) highlighted interesting collaborations and combinations. Standard colors are combined with tropical prints, unusual shapes and cut immediately drew attention to the collection.

My attention was more attracted Isabella Melo (IMG). In the same collection she showed unexpected combination of summer coloreds fabrics and leather. Brown leather hats, skirts and accessories are very effectively highlighted the tropical print.

For a more modest girls No. 21 Resort 2014 and Kenzo Resort 2014 offered two-color models with a tropical print with night junglie.
