Say ‘No’ to dresses with me

I am tired to celebrate every New Year in dress, something should be changed. Every year i see a lot of girls in uncomfortable dresses and shoes. What is the stereotype to wear dresses, false lashes and heels-killers? In Russia we also have traditions to eat salad Olivier, drink a lot of alcohol, listen congratulations from the president and sleep under the Christmas tree. Just try to combine these two trends and imagine how blue and gloomy is it. My thoughts and sadness about these patterns bring me up to this article. Thus, I’m going to offer you my ideas, what we can wear this wonderful night.

Of course there are a lot of variants: pants, shorts, etc… But I would like to start with the most interesting and unusual solution — playsuit. With regard to fabrics and styles, everything would be appropriate. As an example, I made a small selection of wonderful jumpsuits from Asos and Nasty Gal.

1) Maximum glitter & gloss. Shiny with stripes or simply fantastic bright playsuit is a win-win version for this holiday. Speaking about color range, all shades of blue, turquoise and green are relevant. I especially want to mention red and burgundy, introduced by Dolce&Gabbana they remain the main feature of this winter. Gold and silver are also perfect for New Year night. However, with such a bright playsuit should be avoided abundance of accessories. Such clothing speaks for itself.

2) Loss in textures. Jumpsuit in luxe jacquard make any Cinderella a noble lady, and soft velvet fabric will make the evening enjoyable and comfortable (everyone will want to hug you). Deep v-neckline adds elegance. Chiffon and lace are also a good choice, with their help, you can create an light and relaxed image of nymph and enjoy the New Year.

3) Shapes and silhouettes. Jumpsuits made from a textured fabric with floral design and asymmetric neckline will look georgeous and marvellous. Classic black things can be diluted by any jewelry, sleeveless lace or with gold studded embellishment jumpsuit is beautiful in itself. The main rule of this option — minimalism.

The next good idea is shorts. There are two options: quiet shorts and bright and shiny top or monochrome top and luxury bottom. Combining the glitter both here and there — not good. We shall not consider the first, but I’m ready to offer something about the second. Deco sequin or luxury embroidered with stones shorts look a little bit pretentious, but cool. These can be dressed with bodysuit, with usual top or jacket with long sleeves.

Skinny pants with a peplum waist and metallic gold damask printand looks very elegant and sophisticated, but definitely requires a close fitting top. Pants with transparent inserts seems classical, but when you dress them, you can not stay unnoticed.
